“The mansion house in Holbeach is a fine restored brick building from ca. 1681. It is known as the birth place of sir Norman Angell, a Nobel prize winner. It is a nice Boutique hotel with excellent room, well kept good beds and most importantly very kind and friendly hosts. They are extremely warm and welcoming. Breakfast freshly cooked and fully equipped. Worth staying here!”
“We had the most fantastic one night stay at this wonderful unique and historic hotel. The Manager was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautifully decorated and perfect in every way. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing! Breakfast was superb with a huge variety of things to eat. Overall we can't recommend this hotel highly enough - it really was a truly relaxing and memorable place to stay in reach of so many interesting places to visit including Stamford and Ely. Thank you for such a lovely stay!”
“We were there for 5 days this month (July). This was our second time staying there. We can’t say enough good things about the hotel. Our room was beautiful, the location was great for us and the owners Rich and Sam are were absolutely wonderful. You can have breakfast but that is all they serve which worked for us. We love it there and will be staying there again when we go back over to England.”
“I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at the Mansion House Hotel! On arrival I was greeted with a warm welcome by Sam and Richard! My room was great…I had a wonderful nights sleep in a very comfy bed and a very satisfying breakfast this morning. Continental and cooked breakfasts are offered and my poached eggs were cooked to perfection! Nothing was too much trouble…both Sam and Richard were wonderful hosts. I will definitely book the Mansion House Hotel when I return to Holbeach.”
“Had my second visit to this wonderful hotel. And yet again it's stunning as ever. . Fantastic staff. Very clean and tidy. . thanks for a very special weekend. Mike.”
“The owners couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Clean, well-appointed rooms and a lovely breakfast. Be sure to book a cottage if you have mobility issues though, as some of the stairs in this lovely old building can be challenging.”
